Your Pod is your first destination after the Introduction level and from then on, it will be your starting point upon loading the game. It's also where you'll return after having finished playing a level. From here you can access everything in LittleBigPlanet, most importantly your Create Moon and all of LBP's gameplay modes. If you choose to go online you'll be able to access, Cool Levels, Mm Picks, News and more.

Pod Computer

The Pod Computer, a DualShock 3/SixAxis controller, allows you to navigate LittleBigPlanet. Press in front of it to use it - you can then use the D-pad and to navigate through the menus as normal.

Decorate

Whilst online in LittleBigPlanet 2, You have the Option of decorating Your earth and moon. Everyone online can then see this, if they check your account or play any of your levels. The Decorate feature is divided up into Seven individual pages; Materials, Stickers, Decorations, Photos, My photos, Theme And Global Settings. There are seven different material Swatches on the Materials Page. Five of these symbolise the different layers of the craft earth and the other two are for the different layers of the moon. You can change the materials of your craft earth and moon and decorate them with the vast array of stickers and decorations you have collected throughout the Storyline.

LBP2 Create Pod Glitch

In early versions of LBP2, a glitch exists that allows you to create in your pod, by using god glitch (also known as god mode) to save the POD in beta of the game and import it to the retail version . It was possible to destroy the pod and make the LBP2 profile unplayable by blocking the spawn point. This glitch has been patched in update 1.01. and this glitch could break your pod so you had to delete your profile. Although it was somewhat easy to fix, not very many people knew how, or had the patience.

Trivia

• The pod will sway just like any other physics-bases object in LBP. If Sackboy runs back and forth he can cause the whole pod to rock.
• In LBP1, it was possible to select "retry" from the popit menu. That option was removed in LBP2.
• In LBP2, you can change the theme background of your pod by going to Pod Computer>Me>Decorate and side-scrolling to the themes page. There you can change your theme(Da Vinci's Hideout, The Cosmos, Eve's Asylum, etc.). You can even change the Fog Colour and Lighting!
• In LBP PSP, your pod is just like one of the other planets on the main menu. When you select it, all you can do is edit your sack person, change your avatar, and view the news.

Pod Games

There are many games you can play in the pod.

• "Undercover Slapping" Decorate the pod and the players with seaweed, and start slapping!
• "King of the Controller" Have all players stand on the controller and start slapping each other. When you get slapped off, you're out. The last player to be on the Controller wins.
